Meet Kwane Watson, DMD
Professional Background
Dr. Watson earned his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1999. Later, he became the founder and CEO of Kare Mobile Inc., a dental service organization and healthcare technology company delivering comprehensive oral healthcare through hybrid brick-and-mortar and mobile dental units.
Experience & Expertise
Before launching Kare Mobile, Dr. Watson ran several dental practices and served as Dental Director for Dentaquest in Kentucky. He is passionate about expanding access to care and finding better ways to bring dentistry directly to the people who need it most. Dr. Watson has been featured in numerous publications and serves as a Crest and Oral-B brand ambassador for the Closing America’s Smile Gap campaign. He was also the president of the Kentucky Dental Society and the first president of the American Mobile Dental and Teledentistry Alliance.
Meet James Allen Tyrer III, DMD
Professional Background
James Allen Tyrer III, D.M.D. is an experienced general dentist with more than 26 years of clinical practice and deep roots in Georgia. A native of Troup County, Dr. Tyrer has dedicated his career to serving individuals and families throughout West Georgia and the greater Columbus region. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from LaGrange College in 1995 and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree in 2000.

Dr. Tyrer brings more than two decades of experience in general and family dentistry, including work as both a dentist and practice owner. His approach combines clinical excellence with accessibility, communication, and respect for each patient. Today, he proudly continues serving patients throughout the greater Columbus area and surrounding counties, with a strong commitment to the Georgia communities that have shaped his career.
Meet Marshall Collins, DDS
Professional Background
Dr. Marshall Collins is a native of New Orleans, LA, and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry.

Dr. Collins brings years of experience caring for patients from all walks of life. He focuses on a calm, methodical approach that ensures every concern is heard and addressed with professionalism and skill. Known for his clear explanations, Dr. Collins helps patients feel at ease and fully informed at every step.
Meet Rachel Williford,
Dental Hygienist
Rachel Williford brings over 15 years of experience in dentistry, consistently elevating patient care and clinical quality. At Aura Dental, she is known for delivering an exceptional patient experience rooted in trust, compassion, and attention to detail.
Rachel is passionate about patient education, tailoring her communication style to meet individuals wherever they are in their oral health journey—ensuring clarity, comfort, and confidence in their care decisions.
A strong advocate for expanding access to care, Rachel has been a driving force behind Aura Dental’s mobile initiatives across Georgia. Her leadership and innovation continue to break down barriers, bringing high-quality dental services directly to the communities that need them most.
Meet Shana Vasquez,
Registered Dental Hygienist
Shana Vasquez brings more than 31 years of dental experience to Aura Dental Group Columbus. Her career began as a Certified Dental Assistant, followed by advanced training as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, before she continued her education to become a Registered Dental Hygienist. She holds a Bachelor of Science in General Science and has completed specialized training in orofacial myology and systemic oral health education.
Ms. Vasquez leads Aura Dental Group’s dental hygiene services for long-term care communities. Her work is centered on expanding access to preventive oral healthcare for older adults, medically complex patients, and individuals who may have difficulty traveling to a traditional dental office.
Ms. Vasquez believes that every resident deserves to be treated with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. Her mission is to remove barriers to care and help long-term care facilities provide their residents with consistent access to high-quality preventive dental services.
